Laura, I’m so very excited about this issue. I’m such a fan of these kinds of magazines. How awesome that your old scrapping loft is in there, I love that space but your new space is just as cool. Thanks for the chance to win, really want this.
I have two tips, the first was a recent discovery from a class at BPS and it’s to keep a favorite’s bucket on your table with like 10-15 favorite go to products in it. This way it saves you time looking and forgetting to use these products and get’s your scrapping done faster.
My other tip that I do is to store all my theme/holiday paper in a paper storage bag organized by holidays, birthdays and seasons. I don’t use these papers as often so it’s nice to know that they are in one spot to find easier.
Thanks laura.

I keep my stickers in page protectors, organized by theme, in a 3-ring binder. That way I can see everything I have by simply flipping the page!

I have all my ribbon wrapped around 4 x 8 pieces of foamcore. Each piece can hold several pieces of ribbon. It’s all sorted by color, and held into place with a small pin. The pieces are in a basket so I can easily flip through it to see the pieces.
Thanks for the chance to win!

I have those metal cubes that you can get at Target and put together however you want. I have two dowels to hold my ribbon spools and they slide right into the cubes nicely displaying the ribbons. Like many of your readers I have those floss holders that I’m using for brads, buttons and small alphabets. I would love to win a copy of this issue! Thanks so much!

i think my best tip is learn to give away what you are not using… if you keep it and dont use it you are wasting precious space.

I keep my buttons, brads and eyelets in a see-thru box for lures. Easy to choose and I can easily see my entire collection in one glaze.
I’m just planning my new bigger and better craft room, and this copy would be perfect for me! Can’t wait till Nowember when we can move in!

I NEED the book to get me organised so the likelihood of me having an organising tip is zilch- although my husband would say don’t buy it in the first place and it won’t need organising!! PLEASE help me with uninspiring unorganised room and get my creativity flowing!!

I cannot wait to get this issue! Like you, I send a great deal of time organizing and reorganizing to find just the right combo to make things work for me. One of the best things I did was separate small embellishments into clear tackle boxes with different sized compartments. And the other thing that I have done a good bit is tear up my magazines–keeping only the pages that I will use in the future. I slip them into sheet protectors and put them in a notebook–ideas are right at my fingertips!

This would be a wonderful addition to my crafting bookshelf! One of my favorite storage ideas is those little drawer systems found in the automotive section of retail stores. Many little drawers for storing embellishments and stamps all for under 20 bucks!

I keep intending to tidy up my scrap area but I never seem to get around to it; maybe this magazine would succeed in getting me into gear! 🙂 One thing I do is store small embellishments in a repurposed jewelry/makeup box.

Gosh, the only tip I can think of off the top of my head is that when i get cute little candle jars/or other cute containers I use them later to store buttons/brads/etc. Love little containers/jars sitting around filled with goodies! 🙂

I had a scrap space until we moved and now we are moving into our new home soon. I can’t wait to get to organizing again. But my favorite storage would be for my stamps. I unmounted all my stamps and now I store them with my clear stamps in cd cases on a tall cd tower that spins. Which I got at the thrift store for about $2. I currently can hold 200 cases (which I have almost filled it up).

Iris carts – they aren’t the most attractive but they hold lots of goodies. I have used my label maker to identify each drawer – one drawer for each of the kids, one for school work that I want to preserve, one for large chipboard pieces, etc.
Can’t wait to take a peek inside the book – it looks fabulous!

Ok, I’ll try for this, because ORGANIZING SCRAPBOOK ‘STUFF’ is something I truly struggle with – but dream about!
My tip would be: Put supplies back in their spot when you are done using them.

My biggie for organization is using various pieces of the Cropper Hopper vertical storage line: paper holders (think 12×12 magazine holder) for patterned paper, paper files for theme specific stuff and pages in progress and the Easy Access Paper Storage for organizing cardstock. Best products I’ve bought for over the years for organizing! I also love Ribbon Rings for my ribbon, it’s so nice to be able to run my fingers through it as I select the ribbon I’d like to use…I have them hanging on hooks inside a cabinet so the cat can’t play with the ribbon.

I would love a copy of this! I am an organizational addict! My only suggestion is that everything should have a place and be easily accessed and labeled. That way clean up is a breeze and you can quickly find what you need! I love my Clip it UP too!

I have three flat 14″x8″x1″ deep jewelry “cases” with 10 to 20 divided areas for earrings. I decided they’d be more useful for storing little embellishments like metal charms, keys, locks, lockets, cameos, etc. Best part? The covers are glass so you can see what’s in each without having to open the cases. I’m on the prowl for more!

I love this kind of magazine, get so many ideas from them. I go to lots of crops so my storage has to be portable. I use a lot of divided clear boxes for embellishments, flowers, ribbons, buttons etc and sort things by color. thanks for a chance to win.

I store my clear stamps in binders – holidays are seperate, everyday in their own; ink pads are kept in a large picnic basket, and the acrylic blocks in a small hanging basket. that’s probably the only thing that is really organized.
