Hey all! I'm back to share another week in my 2017 Project Life album. I apologize if these all look the same. There's not a lot to point out, since I'm really following a lot of the same design ideas from week to week. Same weekly title card, same monthly maker card, simple black and white digital journaling cards, and simple embellishments. But I still enjoy sharing them, so hopefully you don't mind seeing them 😉

My good friend Deneen came by last week and was peeking at my album, as I had it sitting out trying to finish up these spreads. And she said "oh look, one of Sarah's dog photos". Lol. I've actually come to love them. In fact, I don't think Sarah sent me any dog photos for May, and it just won't be the same.

Can I say that I really wish Project Life cards didn't have rounded corners? Most of the time, it doesn't even bother me that I can see the corners of photos, journaling cards, or other straight corner filler cards sticking out of the rounded corner cards. Yet sometimes, it really does bug me a bit. I have no desire to round all my corners, so I just have to deal with the cards that do have the rounded corners.

Gosh, that's some glare there on that photo. Or the photo of the photo I should say. Behind the scenes secret. When I take photos of my layouts, I have to use my DSLR camera, and I take tons of photos, in hopes that I get the best shots I can. When I take photos of my Project Life album, I have to use my phone, and I literally take one single shot for each photo you see here. Just one try, as opposed to the 10 shots I might take for each photo you'll see for a layout. Lol. 

Some weeks, I slip my photos in and I think "how am I going to coordinate these colors together?". But somehow, it just ends up working. For this week, I ended up focusing on yellow, pink, and aqua. Even though I have lots of other colors going on. 

Figures my girl would be unprepared for her last ever, high school sports photo. Lol. She didn't have her track shoes with her that day, for whatever reason, and had striped socks on to make it even more awesome. Lol.

That wraps up week fifteen. I have two more weeks to share, so I'll continue with the next week on Friday Monday (since I ended up posting a new layout on Thursday). I still haven't started typing up my May journaling cards, even though I'm pretty sure I said I would do that two days ago. My days just seem to get away from me. But I'm sure that happens to plenty of us, right?
