Hey all. I'm back with quite a few weekly spreads in my 2018 Project Life album to share, starting with week twenty seven. Which was the first week of July, in case you don't want to do the math 😉
I like to add the info for my weekly title cards every now and then, since I get asked about them a lot. I used the Pocket Guide No.4 kit from Paislee Press. I created each week's card in Photoshop, using the template from the kit – switching out the week number and adding the dates for each week.
Alyssa always jokes with me that she doesn't need to send me so many photos, since she knows that I screenshot all of her Snapchat photos. Which I do, because they're fun – and because I never know if I'll be short on photos and want to include them for certain weeks. I think they're fun little glimpses into her everyday life.
Of course, she always comes thru with so many great photos from work and stuff too. I can always count on her to give me good 4×6" photos, since a lot of mine aren't really worthy of a 4×6" photo. Lol.
I find that I have some sort of journaling – whether it's a full journaling card, a Snapchat caption on the photo itself, or one of the Pocket Maps (the half photo, with a sentence or two on the bottom) – so it bothers me a tad bit when I end up with a photo that doesn't have any journaling at all to go along with it. Like the photo of Sarah and the daycare kiddos above.
But in the grand scheme of the album, I know that I have a huge amount of story telling and little everyday facts going on. So having a few photos without journaling is ok, since not every photo has a specific story to go with it.
I'll be back tomorrow to share another weekly spread with you 🙂
