i had to dig around on my blog to find it … but over 1 whole year ago, i posted this gripe about melrose place. it was april 13th, 2007 to be exact … you can read the post HERE if you really have nothing better to do. lol! so here is the basic idea of that post:

i did some searching online and found some episode guides so i could figure out where i was. there were a total of 7 seasons for "melrose place" … a total of 227 episodes. quess what episode i was on as of last friday? 202!!! that means i only had 25 episodes left! that means i had watched 202 episodes … basically i’ve been watching it for about 40 weeks (5 a week). and i only had 5 weeks left to go. i’ve been on the edge of my seat the last week or so every time i watched a show … because i could just tell that it was getting to the end.  and now they just stopped showing it?!?!

but guess what i found last week on the quide … melrose place is back on! and guess what … it was on episode 199. just about where i had left off. it was pure luck that i even found it … i must have just been surfing around on the quide because it’s not a channel i normally watch. it airs 2 times a day, 5 days a week. so within about 3 weeks, i’ll have seen it all. beause i really only had 25 episodes left to go.

only problem is … i don’t have time to watch these! i already have 6 of them piled up on my DVR. with 10 more scheduled for just this week. lol! and i  havn’t even watched the "greys anatomy" from the past 2 weeks … the new ones that we’ve been waiting all this time for. lol! guess that the nice thing about having the DVR … they can all just hang out there until i DO have time!

i feel like that was kind of a let-down post. yesterday was "national scrapbooking day" … you’d think i would have some fun, scrapping related post to share with you. but i don’t. sorry! i am busy scrapping though … i can’t even tell you how much i’m scrapping right now. as in i-can’t-even-keep-track-of-what-i’m-doing scrapping … stuff everywhere i turn. but it’ll all good!

You are too funny. I had forgotten all about Melrose Place. I don’t even remember how the show ended but I do remember HAVING to watch it. I also remember Kimberly (now Brie on Desperate Housewives) as being odd looking and now I think she is so beautiful. That is the same person, isn’t it? I have the last Grey’s DVR’d too and just haven’t had time to watch it. Love DVR. Anyway, good luck on squeezing in all in!

oh gosh Laura. I know what you mean…my DH and I are huge fans of “24”. The season goes from like Jan-May every year. Then the stike happened last fall. They said they had made 8 episodes so they would not show them until the strike was over. Then the strike was over and Fox announced that it was going to wait until next January. So we are 2 years without it. OK, I feel better now!!

That is hysterical! I used to watch it all the time along w/ 90210! My cousin Shannon and I would get together same time every week and watch it – we were obsessed – ha!

What channel and what time is it on? I love to wake up super early on Saturday morning, and watch Melrose- this Saturday it was One Tree Hill when I woke up, then 90210 was one (which I also really like)- I think it was the Soap network…are there any good shows on anymore? We usually watch HBO…

Glad you were able to get some creating done.
I loved Melrose Place when it was on — I think I may have missed a season, but I loved that show.
I was like you with Dawson’s Creek. I started watching it one day (after it was off the air) and kept recording episodes until I watched all the seasons. That was a good show too!
Can’t wait to see what you created over the weekend.

Ah yes Melrose Place! The good ole days. LOVED that show–especially when Heather Locklear came on it–she was so bitchy!!
You’ve got to watch Greys’—last week made me CRY it was so good!
Can’t wait to see what craftiness you’ve been up to. I was struggling with a LO & realized the pics were the same size as your Marine LO. Now I struggle with lifting yours or staying with what I’ve got done so far…..

I do that with older shows too…I get caught up in them and because they are on so many times a week it’s easy to ‘catch up’ on them. 🙂 Glad you found those missing shows. DVR is the BEST invention. And get to watching Grey’s already, won’t ya? LOLOL
So glad you’re back in “scrapbook mode”. LOVE seeing all your work.
    Have a great day!

I’m not much of a TV watcher..so I can’t comment on Melrose Place, Grey’s Anatomy..ect..but, I was looking down at all ofyour layouts..and my gosh..you are one talented chic! They are all just stunning..how on earth do you have time for that..it must take you hours..I guess you spend as much time scrapbooking, as I do taking/ editing photos..which is.. a lot!
