a few weeks ago making memories asked me if i wanted to participate in a photo swap challenge. to switch photos with another designer … and we would then create a layout using their photos. when i found out the other designer was wendy, i was even more excited!

we each sent each other a few of our favorite photos. and we both used the new noteworthy collection for our layouts. it's the most gorgeous collection! here's a peek at what i did with wendy's photos of her beautiful daughter, meagan:

and here's a peek at what wendy did with the photos of alyssa (i'm in love with the stitching!):

you have to go check out the making memories blog to see the entire layouts … and get more info about them! so get your kiester over there and check it out (i think wendy may have actually dared me to say "kiester" last night when we were emailing. lol!).

and a big "thanks" to wendy and meagan … for allowing me to have fun with their photos! and a big "thanks" to wendy from me and alyssa … for the amazing layout she did with our photos! we loved it!

i saw the layouts this morning and you guys did a fantasic job! i LOVE the WHOLE noteworthy collection! i adore the stitching as well, would it be wrong to buy a sewing machine just to add stitching to my layouts & cards? 🙂

SO cute – both lo’s!!! What a fun thing to do – you can tell that you have your own styles even w/ the same MM line.
I bought a super cheap sewing machine but I got so frusterated w/ it that it just sits in the box on display – as if it will get used again some day – ha! Love the look though 🙂

Those layouts are awesome. I love the noteworthy and garden party line- my very favorites right now! I also had to laugh as you posted about Melrose! I used to love that show, but never did see all of the episodes. I recently went through the same DVRing with Beverly Hills 90210. One of my lofty goals (ha!) was to watch every episode of that, and there were times I’d have 15 on DVR at once! My husband threatened to delete if I didn’t get busy! I’m proud to say I got them all watched! Now I need a new series. You go girl!

Both LO’s are so great. I love the circles on the side Laura, great job with the swap. I wish I could sew straight like Wendy too…
