i'm really digging deep to find anything to share with you. lol! don't get me wrong … i've been scrapping like crazy. so hard not to share sometimes! back in the day, i was quite famous for starting layouts and never finishing them. nowdays, i don't do that much … i'm good about finishing things pretty quickly. but i do have a small stack that has been collecting dust for a while. i found this layout in there.

Me_and_my_girls

these photos are from may of 2007 … and i started this layout about that same time. so it's been sitting around for over a year. everything was on there … except the journaling. this was from when i was on the lil davis design team … which would explain why i have that ribbon and those chipboard letters. i still love the letters … but not so much the ribbon. anyhoo … i just added a MM journaling notebook page to it for my journaling … and a scrap for the date. and guess what … after a year of sitting around … it's done. how simple was that?!?! lol!

supplies:
pattern paper – chatterbox (brown), i have no idea (grid)
ribbon, chipboard letters – lil davis
flowers, brads, notebook journaling page –
making memories

I can make you feel really good about old layouts sitting around. I have some from 2000 waiting to be finished. Only a couple mind you, just enough to make me look bad.
Anyway…love how your photos balance each other. Great way to use those letters too.
    Sweet title:)

I too am guilty of leaving layouts sitting around. But usually if I leave them too long, the design needs to be changed. My style seems to evolve slightly and then I think, “ACK, I can’t finish it like THAT!” So good for you on getting it done! Done is good!! LOL!

So cute – I want pics like that w/ my kids now 🙂 too bad it’s 100 degrees outside-lol! I like the chipboard letters – I always gravitate towards letters in the store for some reason. BTW-my Target has a lot of the holiday MM stuff out now-woohoo! And they actually had some cute stuff in the dollar section too!

CUTE! I love that you are in a layout with your girls! I’m bad about starting things and not finishing them. I have one of those Iris boxes filled with a few layouts that I started and just stopped for one reason or another. I really should get back to those – thanks for inspiring me girl! 🙂
