i was browsing through super old layouts today … the ones on my computer anyways. and i noticed that i didn't really have any soccer layouts. in fact … i have 1 of them. in the 6 years that the girls have been playing soccer … in the 12 teams that they have participated on … i have one stinkin layout.

SL Soccer Kicks

this layout is from sarah's second year … so this was 4 years ago. look how tiny they are! but how is this the only layout i've ever made? i don't have one of alyssa at all. i guess it's because i've done albums for a lot of the years. but they've been albums for the team … like these. where i have made 24 albums at once … with just one photo of each girl on the team. last year i gave up … and didn't do them. it was the year i was secretly named the "worst team mom" by some parents (i'm thinking anyways) … because people knew me for doing these album and were expecting them. lol! but doing all those albums each year … and making DVD's with the photos … it was exhausting.

so i guess that's why i never took the time to go through pictures and narrow them down … and scrap them. i think the last 2 years … i never even had any of the pictures printed. sarah has asked me for soccer pics numerous times … when she comes across a sheet of soccer stickers and decides that she has to make a soccer layout NOW. but i just don't have any laying around. one of these days i really need to go through and do something with them … all 5 years and counting (this season is the 6th). maybe even something digital … like a photo book.

anyways … just a totally random thing there for you. lol! i just finished up a ton of assignments as of today … and i'm so excited to be done with them. they were super fun to work on … and i can't wait to see the end result. but i'm also excited to have them finished. so that i can start all the other things that i've been wanting to work on. so much to scrap … and not enough time sometimes! i have some cards already in the works … so i'll be sharing those in the next day or so. i also promise to share a few more super old layouts tomorrow. i have some "all about me" layouts that i thought would be fun to share … but i realized tonight that i have to retake the photos of them … since the ones from a few years ago are of some embarrasingly-bad quality. if i'm going to show you super old stuff … i need to at least have a super nice photo of it. lol!

Sarah looks so tiny!! Great LO! Now you just gotta play “catch-up” & work on those soccer pics. As for “worst team mom”, I wouldn’t let them worry you, they just like it done for them.

love the layout. I’m glad I’m not the only Mum who hasn’t scapped many of their kids sporting photos. I have four sons who have been playing football(Aussie rules) and basketball for up to 10 years and probably only have 3 or four layouts to show for it. I think it is just that we take so many photos of so many games and because it its something they do on a regylar basis it don’t get the scrap time devoted to it that it that the more special events do.
    Love your blog BTW.
Now I might go and scrap some sporty photos, lol.

Look how tiny she is…so cute.
I too have only a couple of sports themed pages. Wonder why that is…I surely have hundreds of pictures of him playing ice hockey. Need to get on that.

omg, you made 24 albums. if ryan did not have like 45 players on his football team i would do that too. maybe for his gymnastics team, there are only 7 of them. lol. im gonna send you an email. i have a question on whether you have used something before. take care. see you soon.

I always admired you for being able to complete albums for each girl on the teams (secretly thought you were a little crazy LOL just kidding). I am sure you disappointed some moms last year but saved your sanity. Now start scrapping some very cool soccer layouts would you.

I cannot believe you even entertained the idea of making all those albums! Much less, doing it more than once. HOLY! Hats off to you – I can barely get my regular stuff done! LOL!

Love the layout. I guess with kids in sports you capture a lot of the same photos while at the games. It would probably be fun to do a layout with one picture from each year they played to see how much they have changed.
Can’t believe that you made 24 albums for the soccer girls.
