i promised i would share my pages so far in my project 365 album. i already had all my photos printed … and the corners rounded (to match the journaling cards). so it was easy enough to slip them all in the page protectors for each week. of course, i had to have the journaling cards in "perfect" order … meaning they all had to be spaced equally out, so that the same design would not be next to each other. lol! so i already put all the journaling cards in the album for the entire year. filling out the journaling cards for the first 31 days of the year took me the longest time. i have good hand-writing days … and days where i don't like my own writing at all. with each day that i was filling out … i was making more mistakes and getting a bit more sloppy in my writing. but i guess that just makes it more real, right? lol!

Project_365_week1

week one. i choose to start my album on january 1st … so there are only 3 days to this first week. i'm starting on the front side of the first page protector … which is perfect for the three days. and then i'll add a regular sized page protector to the front of the album later … and make my own title page.

Project_365_week2

week two. these were really hard to get a picture of. those white things on the bottom of the picture … those are my toes. i had the album laying on one of the stairs. and i was balancing on another stair … and on my tippy-toes trying to get the whole album in the shot. yes, i'm on the short side. click on any of these to see them a bit bigger.

Project_365_week3

week three. as you might have noticed … i did add a few brads to the first week or two. not sure if i'm going to do that to the other pages. for now, probably not. i don't want to get halfway in and have the album bulk up too much. i think it's going to be good just with the 52 weeks of photos. but i might go back and add a few things … never know.

Project_365_week4

week four. i also decided to use the black "day" stickers on the photos … and the clear circle stickers on the journaling cards. i punched small circles from the extra pattern paper sheets that came in the kit … using my 5/8" punch that i had. the stickers are a tad bit larger than that … but it's the only punch i had. then i just drew a rough circle around those stickers.

Project_365_week5

week five. feel like i should make a few more comments … but i think it's all pretty self-explanitory. lol!

Looks great Laura! I took Ali’s A Week in the Life album track a few years ago at CKU and this is a similar idea, so I decided not to do this project, but I really think yours is perfect!
I have those bad handwriting days too! Don’t you hate that?
    Anyway, it’s darling!

I started mine on Jan. 1 also but I did a title page and my weeks go from Wed. to the following Wed. I did my black stickers like yours (on the photo) & I too cut out circles & put the clear stickers on those. Our books look the same. I am going to go back and round the corners of the photos like you did. I like that look. I was like you about the journaling cards-I didn’t want them to look the same. That took a while to put the whole year together & have the colors & pages match. I think we both have some OCD going on:)

    Very nice 🙂
I’m still waiting for mine … they said mid-March. It’s really weird thinking of trying to catch up at that point, but I’m still doing it! Imagine my handwriting by that time!
I like the look of the black name stickers on the photos and the round ones on the journaling blocks. I don’t have a small round punch, though. I don’t know how I’d make a backing for them all …

Lookin’ good so far. Glad you finally have your kit and could get it all put together…you are so on the ball with it. I think I want to do something like this…maybe I will get around to it soon. I am a huge procrastinator!

I take it you got your kit! Finally! I’m doing the rounded corners, too, but I’ve only printed out a couple of picts. I went ahead and put all of the journaling cards in ahead of time, too, but I have a feeling I’ll be moving them around as the year progresses.

this is looking so great. why can’t i do that? where did u get those pages? with individual pockets? i’m happy to see your writing..that’s neat….my mom and my 3 sisters have just about identical handwriting, and i treasure that.
i’m gonna click on the pics so i can see more detail. i’m just in a rush right now, have a daughter in shower who needs hair washing and i have a terrible kink in my neck. but i will get to it laura. lol

Just a quick question–did you put the stickers directly on the photos or did you adhere them to the page protectors. I’m afraid to put them on the page protectors in case I have to move stuff around later, I figure I could always print out a new picture if I had to. Just wondered what you did. Thanks.
