wanted to say "thanks" to everyone for their comments on my photos from the past few days. i'm in love with all of them … and have ordered tons of them already. have a few picked out to enlarge super huge on my walls … i've been meaning to update those for a while now. and these are going to be such a fresh addition to the house. and i got this card back last week. i had made this ages ago … and it got picked up for publication before i ever shared it.

Thanks_a_bunch_card

i'm not very big on the monocramtic look. it's pretty … but i have a hard time using all one color. but this card worked for me … i like it. although it looks better in person … i promise. i have got to start photographing my cards and stuff on a nice background … and not the carpeted stairs. lol! the papers and printed acetate are all making memories … along with the flowers stamps. i heat embossed them with some distressed embossing powder. and adhered with popdots of course!

not sure what else is going on around this joint. i've been "off" all week … not as focused as i was in previous weeks. i was going on some projects … and then got sidetracked with photos and editing. then got busy with kids and life. and then sidetracked again with other random projects. just a whole lot of wheels spinning around and around … but not really getting anywhere. guess that's ok every now and then. as long as i get back on track soon … then i'll feel a lot better!

supplies:
pattern paper, printed acetate, glittered paper –
making memories
flower stamps – making memories
sentiment stamp – hero arts
embossing powder – tim holtz
buttons – autumn leaves
other – string

Very pretty card! I am sure you will have tons to share in a week or two. It is always worth the wait:)
After dreaming about 365 project on your and my daughters advice I started it Sunday and put the album together in 2 hours. I made my own kit using Teresa Collins pink collection line called “Journal-It Girl”.
I added my own stamps, paper and embellishments. I set the album up to be 12 months of the year using the same page protectors as the 365 kit is using.
Today on my to-do list is to spread mulch. We are having a break in the weather over the next three days. So I will be taking the kids outside and play in the yard.
    Enjoy your day!!!

Adorable card! I think you did another monochromatic card? layout? recently? I remember because you had said how you struggle with that look, but I thought, “Who is she kidding? She rocks it all!” LOL! I didn’t get a chance to comment on the photos of Alyssa…they are equally amazing! I can see why you want them displayed! BTW, who do you use for printing your extra large prints? Hope you have a great day!

Ooo … how big are you printing out your new wall art? I’ve always wanted to do that … but you spend so much money and then want to replace them a few times a year … also, I tend to like the pictures of my daughter more than my son. Not because I like her more or anything, but the pictures just tend to turn out better. She looks at the camera and smiles … I’ve got a ton of little picture frames all over my house covering practically every surface. I really should get some on the walls!
