this is the layout i started about 2 weeks ago. i had taken the photos on a saturday, printed them sunday morning, and this layout by sunday night. just had to figure out if i wanted any journaling … and where i would actually fit it. as you can see … i still havn't added any journaling. i might … but later. figured i would share it as is for now.

i am seriously in love with the just chillin collection from making memories! it's one of the funnest collections i've seen in a long time. love the bright colors and fun patterns. this is actually the first look i had at it … and the first time i got to use it. and let's just say … you'll be seeing lots more of this from me. i don't have all the embellishments yet … so the trims on here are from rusty pickle. but the paper and canvas tag are from the collection. and i happen to see some of this out at my local target store last weekend … so it looks like it's starting to hit the stores.  just a note: the white cardstock is actually the base of my layout … just took the photo on my black shelf.

love it, laura! a quick question, do you edit your photos? other than cropping? you seem to develop your photos so quick and i think the reason it takes me so long is the editng process. i must be overthinking it…

she’s totally fabulous! your girls are gorgeous:) i’ve been enjoying their wonderful photographs:) and since following your and Mary’s challenges, i’ve been branching out in my scrappin’ abilities- i am finding myself using buttons more and more. i have millions of buttons but i have now just starting to use them. so thanks for the inspiration.
and yes… i about died when you dropped by my blog and commented. i was like “a scrapbooking celebrity said something to me!” i was totally flattered:)

she is gorgeous. . and very sweet too!! tell her that will you? you’re really fast scrapping those photos… send some mojos to me. oh wait, send them so they arrive next friday, okay? wouldn’t want the mojo to arrive at an empty home then get upset over the unwelcoming atmosphere.. LOL 😀

Stil not sure how you get so much done in your life – Im sure your bottom never sits down. Think you are always standing by the sounds of it.
Love seeing how the day care kids and your own girls are growing up so fast.

Super cute! I’m going to love this collection! I did see a few things at Target yesterday – that Faboulous tag and the matching canvas letters – very cool! I’m hoping they have a little package of all of it together like they do the other lines. I’m waiting to see what we get . . .

Awesome layout! Love the unusual details like the pom-pom and lace. I also like your button placement. I really like it on your layout, but if I did it, I’d keep wondering if it was good enough … I’m so rough on myself 🙂
