have you been watching the fun over at the making memories blog this week? they've shared some super cute ideas for party projects … and have had a few fun videos too. it's my turn now … and my video went up tonight. you can see it HERE. here's a closer look at the party favor box i came up with.

just promise me you won't laugh. i mean it. i have never made a video in my life … so this was quite a challenge for me. i should really do a bloopers reel … because i had some funny ones (including me totally yelling at my girls!). and i have to be honest … i was horrified that i had to film that in my kitchen and at that angle. if only my house had light … especially my studio. i had no choice. and i have to thank my girls … for trying to film this for me. and my mom … who finally got roped into the job. couldn't have done it without them … even though i tried. lol!

Laura, you continue to amaze me with all the creative juices that seem to flow so effortlessly from you. I still one day wish to meet you in person and just pick your brain or sit there quietly and watch you work.
I will be moving to Anchorage, Alaska from Florida on April 25 to work there over the summer. I am hoping to take some amazing photos while I’m there and would love your input on layouts. Do you give layout advise??? But then again…with your schedule, I’m sure it would be between 12 and 12:01am, lol! Have a Blessed Day!!!

Adorable box, and to find the time to make a video…boy that is fun! I am not sure I would be all that good inf front of the camera either! Going right now to check it out, I am sure it is just great as most of your things are! Some of your latest stuff is awesome, can’t believe you have been pulling old layouts that weren’t finished…it is a pet peeve of mine to not finish something…drives me crazy until I do it! So not many half finished things for me, but I do have tons of stuff not done! Lucky you that you squeeze the time into your day to make a few quick layouts, if only I could do them so quickly!

You did a great job. I think you are brave to be in front of the camera…I shoot a lot of videos in my p.j.’s..hee hee. Thanks for sharing that great idea. 🙂

You did a great job with the video! Now it’s my turn to ask you not to laugh. While I, of course, watched for the craft content, I was really anxious to hear your voice. I have this thing about putting voices with faces. Strange, I know. Your voice fits you. OK, I am now shaking my head, knowing you think I am totally nuts. Truth is, I am nuts…just not totally. lol! Love the party favor box idea. I can’t wait to show my future step-daughter. She will LOVE the idea! Thanks for sharing. Oh, and by the way, I want a front row seat to the premier of your blooper video! Just love those!!!

What a cute box. I love it. You always inspire me. I try not to read your blog in the morning, because then I want to call in sick and stay home to play. LOL I didn’t follow that this morning and now it is time to head out into the 5 inches of snow that we got last night. BOO HOO Have a wonderful day.

Love your video, Laura! You did great, and your girls did an even better job filming! I just wish my girls (now all teens) were young enough to appreciate your project. I can’t tell you how many themed treat bags I put together over the years for three daughters, and this box would have been awesome. Well, I will have granddaughters…some day!
