if this layout doesn't make you crave some oreo cookies, i don't know what will. and if that main photo doesn't make you laugh out loud, i don't know what will. lol! these are some photos from the amazing megan cristello again. i was joking on facebook one night that i couldn't find any of my own pics to scrap … and she joked back that she had some oreo photos that were screaming my name. i took her up on the invitation 🙂
coredinations was so sweet to sent the jillibean soup design team girls a box recently. filled up with their awesome cardstock to match the jillibean soup collections. i had never seen or tried their cardstock before. but i really love it. it has a great white core to it, making it perfect for embossing, sanding, and distressing.
i decided to go with embossing, using my cuttlebug. once i ran the cardstock strips through the cuttlebug, i sanded them down so that some of the white core showed through. such a simple touch that really gives the page some "pop". i also tore the bottom of my green cardstock. man, i havn't torn paper in years. and ask anyone that used to take my classes at the local scrapbook store … we used to tear EVERYTHING. lol!
the large photo is printed 5×7, i just had to do that one large and bold. and all the other photos are printed 2×3 inches. the rest of the layout is fairly simple. just some circles cut from pattern paper, and some journaling sprouts and letter stickers. journaling taken from megan's blog.
