i have a ton of assignments that i need to be working on this weekend. but i also decided to take on this project just for fun.

i had picked up the new making memories autumn splendor collection quite a while ago at michaels, and knew that i wanted to use it for a fun album about what we're all thankful for. this year is actually the first time in at least 5-6 years that we're spending thanksgiving with my family here in town. usually, it just works out that we go out of town to see joe's family and alyssa's grandparents. so it's going to be nice to hang out here this time. so i want to have the base of this album all assembled and ready to go on thursday. so that i can get photos of everyone, and have them fill out their assigned papers. i know they just love when i ask them to do stuff like that. lol!

so now i put this out there, and you can hold me to it. i'll share some of my steps along the way over the next few days.

Looks great!! We don’t have thanksgiving here, but I have been spending the day making a Christmas Bunting to hang up in the foyer, followed by a Christmas banner for the lounge. Just taking a break to cut riley out some trees on the Silhouette as he has been sitting with me all day making some Christmas cards! So fun. And definitely getting us in the mood for Christmas..roll on December! :o)

    Laura,
What a great idea! My sister-in-law always hosts thanksgiving. I’m going to have to get one of these together for her…she would love it! Thanks for the inspiration!

    Hi Laura-
Pete goes in for surgery on the 30th so I’m going to make a mini album about how thankful I am for insurance, caring doctors, great hospitals and naturally my sweet and loving husband. I know your album will rock and I’ll be looking for some great ideas.
So thankful for you and your precious family too!

I think you made a wise choice for this album. These colors are perfect together. I always love a little blue in the mix of colors.
I look forward to seeing layouts in the album.
