Jillibean_sketch_happybday_card

i decided to do a card. a little card that is just 4×4 inches in size. and it's a birthday card, which is the one kind of card that i never seem to make. lol! but i was reading erin's blog yesterday, and she was talking about all the handmade cards she's gotten and kept. and she happen to show some of my cards i've sent her over the years. i noticed that i had missed sending her a birthday card this year (it was really recent too). so right away, i knew this would be a birthday card and that it would be for her. of course, she's going to see it here on the blog before it gets to her in the mail 😉

    Really cute card!!!!!
I have been making quite a few of them.
Everyone so far seems to like them.
    I usually do the 4 x 6 size.

What sort of envelope do you use. I have been told that when I use brads, they poke through the envelope. I am still trying to come up with a way to mail my cards and not have to use padded ones that i have to go get weighed. i don’t care if they cost more!

I was just looking thru your past recent posts trying to find the one on decorating the envelopes for cards, music programs, etc. I can’t find it. Did you take it out or am I just not seeing it right in front of me? I was going to work on some this weekend. Please let me know. thanks

I haven’t made a card in FOREVER. Someday, I’ll get back to it. Maybe when I can find my patterned paper! 😉 Cute card, as always!
