i tell you, spring break is cramping my blogging style 😉 here's what the girls are doing right now. i can see them out the kitchen window, hanging out together.

i just don't seem to get as much done when everyone is home from school. it's just how it goes. throws off my routine, and just never seem to have a quiet moment to focus on anything. and  later bedtimes don't help either. i spent the weekend finishing up the painting in the house (pics to come), and cleaning. then the girls each had friends spend the night. but on two different nights. so we basically had one of their friends here for 3 entire days straight. even later bedtimes on those nights. joe's been umpiring a lot, so he's just crazy busy and not getting much sleep. we've had lots of soccer practices, and running around town for that.

i'm working on some things to share though. so stay tuned and i'll do my best to be a bit more regular around this joint 😉

Yeeeh, your back!! I know what you mean when the kids are home I don’t get anything done. tomorrow is their last day then a week off. It messes up everything from moring till late bedtimes. I like the quiet house during the day. I like the pics, looks like nice weather. Can’t wait to see the kitchen all done!!

I know what you mean, I can’t get anything done with the family around. I do my best work early early in the morning. Can’t wait to check out your new project and that finished paint job. You have inspired me I think we are going to tackle the living room this summer. Happy Thursday!

Hi there…long lost blog hopper here! lol! Wanted to wish you and your family a blessed Easter holiday! Enjoy the remainder of Spring break. I so remember the chaos created when the kiddos were home but it was always worth it. {{{hugs}}} L

Hi Laura! Just wanted to say “Happy Easter” to you & thanks for all the painting tips – I really enjoyed that post – as I am busy doing just that for the FIRST TIME 😀 so I really needed some guidance…it is much easier than I thought & fun too! Love your Easter layout & I’m all for scrapping what you like when you like & it makes sense to have those photos in your own album to keep ;-D It’s school holidays here too & SO difficult just getting into my own headspace let alone actually achieving anything for myself! But soon they’ll grow up & leave us so trying to embrace it.
