happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me! yep, it's my birthday. i had a funny moment last night. i'm a total night owl, and never go to bed before 1:00am. but i was feeling really, really tired last night. i happen to look up at the clock, and it was exactly midnight. i actually said outloud to myself, "so this is what 40 feels like". lol! i know i said i was going to do my other "20 things about me" today. but i never got around to typing it up. so i'm giving myself a free pass, and will try and do it tonight.
but in the meantime, i have 40 other things to share with you. my BFF deneen said that she had to come see me this morning. i'm not a morning person, but i was up and dressed and ready at 9:00am. she came to the door, handed me a starbucks, and told me to turn on my computer. turns out my friends have been planning behind my back for a few weeks now. my bff's lynn and carla organized a 40th birthday blog hop in my honor. i'm so touched and honored, by everyone that participated. it means so much to me, that 40 of my scrapping friends and colleagues took time to make me a card and send me birthday wishes. i havn't had time to read all the posts yet, but i've glanced through the cards and they're all adorable! i think i'm going to wait until tonight to read everyone's posts, so that i can really appreciate them. without my family all yapping in the background, which is what's going on right now. lol! they're actually trying to ask me what i want for my birthday lunch, so i guess i should go and figure it out 😉
