i started this year doing project life, and made it about 4 full weeks. but then made the decision to take the year off. i had completed my project 365 for the previous year, and loved it. but i felt like i had too much going on this year, to keep up. you want to know what happened this year? i took hardly any photos at all. it's really sad. if you were to look through my photos for the year, you would find full months without folders. the majority of the photos i took were of projects. which isn't right.

so i'm making the committment to becky higgin's project life this year. it just arrived at amazon today, and mine is ordered and on it's way. they're super fast there. love it! i ordered the turquoise edition, because i love the colors and the clean, graphic look to it.

but there is also an amber edition, which is really pretty too. has more of the floral look to it. love that becky designed 2 different choices this year.

this is my christmas gift. my family doesn't know they got it for me yet, but it sure made their shopping for me a lot easier. lol! i'm really hoping this gets me back on track with taking more photos, of everyday life. not just the events. but all the little details, that make up the grand scheme of our life.

oh, good for you! I can’t wait too see what you do with it! I think I may order the Amber edition to do a Disney album, not the 365 Project. I do a month in review album in addition to other spreads, so don’t really need this, but I really think for the price it would be great for a Disney trip..what do you think? LOVE the page protectors. And every Kit I have gotten from Becky has been so worth it price and quality wise.
    Merry Christmas from PA!

I’m so glad to read this! It’s the confirmation I needed!! Just ordered the Amber. Hope I can keep up to date without it impacting too much on my other “regular” scrapbooking. Merry Christmas!

Yes … got the same kit. Like you, I want to again take more pictures of the every day events. I was torn between both albums, but like you, liked the graphic look of the turquoise album. I wish they would also offer the journaling cards as a single item … the cards would be GREAT journaling blocks on traditional scrapbook pages.

Good for you trying it again this year laura, try putting it all togehter right away so it will be easier. I’ll be here to cheer you on.

I have more or less completed the Project Life album for this year and have enjoyed it although I did find it somewhat stressful, possibly b/c I was “overthinking” it just a bit….I’m torn as to whether or not I want to order again, if I do I want to adapt it and not take literally a picture a day….
For the above comment regarding the journaling cards: I have it in my mind that they are offering the cards separately this year (for $3.99 perhaps??)Becky posted a video on her blog not long ago w/ a sneak peek and I’m almost positive they will be available although I don’t recall them being decorated like the ones that come w/ the actual kit. Hope this helps! 🙂

i don’t usually reply here, but i wasn’t able to respond to your comment, shannon. there will be a set of journaling cards available. but they’re plain white, with a grid background, i believe. i went into this project the previous times, knowing that i didn’t want to overthink it. i even posted some of my thoughts about it, last january. simple and easy. a photo a day. no huge thought behind it all.

Hi Laura, I will be busy the rest of the day getting ready for family coming over, so no more computer time for me today. Just wanted to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and thank you for all you do for us on this blog. I’m so thankful for finding your blog and all the inspiration you give me.

I would really like to do this again but never touched my kits from last year. 😦 Still up in the air on whether I should give it a try again. It took me so long to finish the 1st one!! 😉 Good luck with!!
