time for another bella blvd release!
i have always LOVED fall. mostly for the gorgeous colors. brown, orange, green, red, yellow, and turqouise. these are all colors that i decorate my home in, dress in, and love to use on my layouts. i have always wished that we could live somewhere, that experiences a true "fall". streets lined with huge trees, leaves falling and covering the ground. a cool, crisp breeze in the air. we don't experience anything like that here where i live.
and yet, i know i will be able to work the finally fall collection into so many of my projects. of course, the pumpkin patch is one thing, that is "fall" to us. so i went with that theme for my first layout with this collection.
there's a few new colors this release, for the ciao chip chipboard letter stickers. the orange set goes perfectly with this collection. but because of the papers that i had pulled out, the orange just sort of blended in. so i went with the fun turquoise letters. once again, i mixed the chipboard letters and the cardstock letters together for my title.
i love the tree i created for this layout. but i have to be honest with you. i had cut the half circle from the green woodgrain paper, stitched around the edges, and adhered it to the top corner of the layout. i just knew i wanted some color up there. as i was picking out a few embellishments, i wanted to see how the chipboard tree looked on my page. this corner was the logical spot, since i knew my title was going on the opposite side. i had the tree sitting here, overlapping the green half circle. and it wasn't until later that night, that i realized it looked like the green paper was the tree. lol!
i should have lied and told you all that it was planned that way from the start. lol! but i admit to loving, when a "happy accident" happens.
head on over to the bella blvd blog, where you can see the ENTIRE collection, piece by piece. and don't forget to leave a comment there, so that you can be entered in their giveaway. one lucky person, will win this collection, before it even hits stores.
