I thought I'd pop on and share another week in my Project Life 2018 album super quick. So here's a look at week eighteen. I really don't think these need much explanation, but I still like to share them. Lol. It's not like I have a ton of other projects to share, so might as well throw them up here.

Since I did take quite a long break from working on my PL album, and from sharing 2018 PL spreads on the blog, I thought I would link you over to the blog post I did a year ago where I discussed my plans for my 2018 album. You can check it out HERE

It's just a brief explanation of my plans as far as my weekly title cards, how I was limiting my journaling card choices, and my plan of attack for simplifying the process.

An unusual add for me, but something I should do more often, is that I added a Starbucks gift card into one of the pockets on this week's spread. I saved it because I loved the design, and I actually did have the thought of adding it into my album. But the main reason I actually ended up adding it in, is because I was a tad short on photos for that week, so I had an extra pocket to work with.

Something I started around week seven last year, was using only filler cards that I got off the Project Life app. I have a good stash of physical PL cards, and pocket page cards from other manufacturers. But it really simplified things for me to stick to only the cards that I had printed from the app.

Several times last year, I went thru all of the kits I've purchased thru the app, and looked for good filler cards that I could see myself using on these weekly spreads. I especially looked for cards in colors that I tend to need a lot, but don't always have handy. Normally, I would print digital cards like that on cardstock or presentation paper, which is what I print all of my journaling cards on.

But it's so easy to add these to my photo orders, and have them printed on photo paper. Even if I've used all of my free prints for the month (remember, I use the Freeprints app each month, so I get 85 prints free – I just pay for shipping), it hardly cost me anything for additional prints over the free ones.
