i have a layout to share. but first you have to go check out this layout … by the amazingly talented sarah klemish. i wanted to scrap today … but didn’t know what i wanted to do. so i went through sarah’s garden gallery … and picked out this layout of hers to lift … to be inspired by. and here’s what i came up with:
i had this photo of nikolas’s sister, vanessa, printed out for something else i was going to do. but i thought i’d toss it on a layout instead. and i thought it fit perfect with sarah’s design. and by lifting her design … all the hard work was done for me. so this took me all of a half hour to make. love that!
another reason i wanted to lift one of her layouts? i totally forgot to share this … but she used one of my layouts for the user inspiration section at 2peas in april. i was so flattered when she asked to use one of my layouts … i’m a big fan of her work. she choose to lift this layout of mine (which conveniently has the same title as my layout above!), and you can see her layout HERE. loved her take on my design … so fun to see! so thank sarah!
