made this halloween coaster today, just for fun. definately not a coaster that you would set a drink on. lol! i was actually going to make a card. but i came across these bazzill coasters that i had a ton of, from years ago, and i like the chunkiness of little projects like these. no idea what i'll do with it. maybe just set it by the front door. just something to get me playing with product again, in all honesty 🙂
the coaster is about 5 1/2 inches square, and made of thick chipboard. i covered it with my pattern paper, which is actually from last years halloween collection from making memories. i sanded down the edges, and then inked them with some black ink. i tied some trims around the bottom of the coaster. the orange ribbon is from last years collection, but the black/orange trim is from the spook alley trims & treats set (has the cutest puffy fabric ghosts!). i used my favorite black shimmer chipboard alphabets for the "boo", and adhered that center "o" with mini pop dots to raise it up a bit. added a quick journaling label and a regular office clip to the top corner. and a few super cute deco pins added a fun touch to the trims. just be careful where you put this, since those pins can prick quite easily (ask me how i know!).
